About the Author

The tragic death of Buddy Mix’s wife, River, inspired him to write the Organ Donor Handbook. He now honors his wife’s memory by operating her beauty company, River’s Salon, in Sapphire, North Carolina.

Mix received a bachelor’s degree in music from UCLA. He has recorded several albums of original songs and written two musicals. He also created the first video singing lesson for vocal students..

Dr. Robert D. Mix provided his technical and medical knowledge for this book.
